John is a Principal of The CAC Group, which he co-founded in 1990. After graduation from Loyola Marymount University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, John taught high school for three years in Los Angeles. He began his real estate career in 1978 in commercial lending with Mason McDuffie Co. in Berkeley. In 1980, John joined the San Francisco office of Coldwell Banker (now CB Richard Ellis) where he spent ten years in office leasing and investment sales. John is a member of Lambda Alpha International and NAIOP.
John is one of the leading office building real estate experts on the West Coast. Throughout his career he has negotiated over 12 million square feet of lease transactions and has been involved in over $2.0 billion in property sales. He is currently responsible for the leasing of nearly 3,500,000 square feet in downtown San Francisco and 3,000,000 square feet in Seattle, where CAC opened an office in February 2007. John's major landlord tenant clients are Beacon Capital Partners, Broadway Partners and AEW Capital Management. Noteworthy tenant clients include Morrison Foerster, Kekar & Van Nest, RCM Global Investors, The RREEF Funds, URS, and MD Beauty-Bare Escentuals.

Jenny Haeg joined The CAC Group in April 2005 as an Associate Broker. Ms. Haeg represents both Landlords and Tenants with their commercial real estate needs in San Francisco. Some of her most notable clients include Twitter, Slide, Cox Castle & Nicholson, KKR Financial and First Round Capital. Ms. Haeg was also part of the team that successfully leased over 170,000 square feet at 633 Folsom Street, the largest lease negotiated in San Francisco in 2008 (to date).
In 2006, Ms. Haeg was recognized as The CAC Group's Rookie of the Year after breaking the record for the highest transaction volume completed by a broker in their first year. Prior to joining The CAC Group, she spent two years as an Associate Broker in Downtown Los Angeles with Colliers Seeley. Ms. Haeg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a Business Minor from the University of Southern California. While at USC, she spent her Junior and Senior year as an intern for Cushman & Wakefield. Ms. Haeg was also an associate member of the Student Consulting Association and a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honors Society.
